Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of data held by WCB Network Private Limited (operating as "Converzo") in connection with the Converzo platform. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. If you are a Converzo customer (a business using our platform)
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data in either of these ways:
- From within the app: log in at app.getconverzo.in and contact support from your workspace, or disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account from Settings to remove the connection data and access tokens.
- By email: send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" from the email address registered to your Converzo account. Include your workspace/business name and, if applicable, the WhatsApp phone number connected to your account.
What happens next: we verify the request belongs to the account owner, then permanently delete the account and associated data within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Your account and team member profiles
- WhatsApp Business Account connection data (WABA identifiers, phone number identifiers) and the encrypted access tokens issued by Meta
- Message history, media, and conversation threads
- Contact lists and customer data you uploaded or collected
- Message templates, chatbot configurations, campaigns, and automation rules
- Opt-in records, webhook logs, and analytics events tied to your account
Access tokens and other credentials are encrypted at rest; on deletion they become permanently unrecoverable. We may retain limited records where required by law (for example, tax and billing records of payments processed through Razorpay).
2. If you are an end user (you messaged a business that uses Converzo)
For messages you exchanged with a business on WhatsApp, that business is the data controller. Please contact the business directly and ask them to delete your conversation and contact details — they can do this from their Converzo dashboard.
If you are unable to reach the business, email us at [email protected] with the business name and your WhatsApp number, and we will forward your request to the business and assist where we are legally permitted to act.
3. Data obtained through Meta / Facebook
If you connected a WhatsApp Business Account to Converzo via Meta's Embedded Signup (Facebook login flow), disconnecting your account or submitting a deletion request as described above removes all data Converzo obtained through Meta's APIs, including access tokens, WABA identifiers, and phone number identifiers.
You can also request deletion directly from Facebook: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Converzo, and remove it. Facebook will automatically notify our deletion endpoint, and you will receive a confirmation code. You can check the status of that request at any time at app.getconverzo.in/data-deletion/status by entering your confirmation code.
